Dr. George Dailey is Chief of the Division of Diabetes and Endocrinology at the Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation in San Diego, California. He has performed over 50 clinical trials in the past 15 years, including a broad experience with the use of sulfonylureas, repaglinide, disaccharidase inhibitors and thiazolidinediones. He also has participated in numerous trials of agents for the treatment of dyslipidemias and hypertension. His clinic occupies 1250 square feet. There are two research coordinators and two registered nurses. He has 1200 patient visits annually. He has a close working relationship with the very active cardiology program at Scripps Clinic. They have 25,000 visits yearly in a 5,000 square foot facility. There are 15 cardiologists, four nurse practitioners, and six research nurses.
